Afternoon Tea

The Great Northern Hotel is an ideal setting to meet and socialise with your friends or family and experience the ritual of Traditional English Afternoon Tea. Our Lounge offers comfortable chairs in a relaxed atmosphere, a recent refurbishment and contemporary furnishings enhance this historic Victorian railway hotel at the heart of Peterborough city centre.

Relax and slip back into a time of decadence. Take afternoon tea, served by our waitress in the lounge and enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade scones & cakes. For those extra special occasions, include a glass of chilled champagne.

All the scones and cakes are created and prepared daily by the pastry team, to ensure great taste, freshness and special little touches.

Cream Teas and a Selection of sandwiches are also served in the lounge.

Afternoon Tea is served from 11.00am - 5.00pm
